Founded in 1730 by Maison Chanoine, Tsarine Champagne was created in honour of the Russian Empire, which in the 19th Century, was the prominent export market for Champagne.

The bottle design reflects the swirling spires of St. Basils Cathedral in Moscow, redolent of the great Russian dynasties.
