Sitting proudly on Piccadilly, it is not just a store, it’s a global institution, a landmark woven into London’s cultural and retail fabric, and a must-visit for tourists and locals alike.


I recently visited the store to take in their Easter offering, and it’s safe to say it delivers on every level.



From the moment you approach the building, the seasonal window displays immediately command attention. Beautifully curated with a clear spring narrative, they strike the perfect balance between elegance and creativity. The Easter theme is brought to life with a refined touch nothing feels overdone, yet everything feels considered. These windows are not only visually stunning, but highly shareable unmistakably designed for today’s Instagram-driven audience while still maintaining the heritage and prestige the brand is known for.



Stepping inside, the experience continues seamlessly.

The store design is, as always, immaculate. Navigation feels intuitive despite the richness and density of the offering, which is no small achievement. Each department flows naturally into the next, guiding customers through a journey of indulgence. The Easter displays in particular are exceptional an abundance of beautifully packaged chocolates, confectionery, and seasonal gifts, all presented with a level of detail that reinforces Fortnum & Mason’s reputation for quality and expertise.



What stands out most is the consistency. Every touchpoint, from window to shelf, reflects a deep understanding of brand, customer expectation, and retail theatre. This is not simply merchandising it is storytelling through design, product, and presentation.



From a packaging perspective, it is especially rewarding to see how integral presentation is to the overall experience.
